2026 Tackle Football Season

Player must be age of 7 by 9/1/2026 and no older than 15 as of June 1, 2026.

Freshman in high school are unable to play for the Silver Bullets

The football season is a significant commitment and maybe a lot for a 7 year old, please reach out if you have any questions.

Practice will begin Friday August 14th

Games begin: The weekend of September 12 or 13th

Game are held on Saturday and/or Sundays (schedule not out yet)

The season typically runs thru the 2nd week in November depending on playoff outcomes.

All practices are held at

Barnstable High School practice field

Games are played at Barnstable High School and various location in Southeastern Massachusetts.

Practice will begin Friday August 14th then starting August 17th practice will be held Monday through Thursday until school starts from 5:45-7:30 p.m. 

Starting the week of September 7th practices will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:45-7:30 p.m. 

The Silver Bullets will collect a $100 volunteer deposit per family and a $100 equipment deposit per child

To be brought to the first practice

You can pay with a check or cash - only one check for $200 is needed for both deposits

(if you have more than one child in the program the equipment deposit is needed for each player and volunteer deposit is per family)

Once volunteer hours are complete your deposit will be returned.

Once ALL equipment is returned your equipment deposit will be refunded.

If you do not comply with these requirements, these fees will not be refunded.

All parents are required to donate at least four hours of their time to man the concession stand, gate collection, help with games and field support. Sign-ups will be posted on our website and social media platforms.

Sign Up Genius will be available once schedules have been solidified.

Fundraising activities are also necessary to keep the participation fee low, purchase equipment and other expenses. The Silver Bullets is a non-profit organization and the people who keep the program running are volunteers.
