's Charlie Rice scored the Bullets' sole touchdown – an 80-yard run

Barnstable 's defense held Bridgewater to two yards on the first set, and then stood poised to take the momentum on offense at midfield. Unfortunately, Barnstable could not get set on offense and two penalties and a fumble later and the Bullets found themselves quickly on defense once more. Barnstable 's defense held the Bridgewater running attack but on third down, the hosts opted to go long down centerfield and Barnstable 's contain could not catch up as the Bridgewater receiver took off for a 45-yard touchdown. Barnstable 's defense held its hosts on the two-point conversion attempt. While Barnstable would return the favor on a brilliant, 80-yard run by Charlie Rice to make it 6-6, Barnstable again could not capitalize on its momentum and its two-point conversion failed. Bridgewater never looked back after that, lofting a nifty, second quarter pass deep into the corner of the end zone to make it 12-6. The two-point conversion succeeded and the hosts went ahead to stay, 14-6. Other solid efforts were turned in by noseguard William Joyce (1 tackle), linebacker Scotty Warren and cornerbacks P.J.
