| Silver Bullets Division 1 Mites Win 3rd Straight Super Bowl!
Running back Darien Kaski ran for 110 yards on 11 carries and scored two touchdowns to lead the Bullets' offense. Kaski's touchdown runs were of 25- and 30-yards, respectively. Fellow running back Dereck Pacheco collected 63 yards on 12 carries, followed by Matt Lambert (15 yards/4 carries), quarterback Hayden Murphy (22 yards, 5 carries), Drew Lambert (12 yards/2 carries) and Brian Reid (20 yards/1 carry). On defense, Hayden Murphy, Marcus Cunningham, matt Lambert and Max Lambert all played well, while cornerback Kevin Huska had an interception and fumble recovery on the afternoon. Murphy also had a nice fumble recovery. Christian Lucashensky had three nice tackles on the day. The Division 1 Mites finished the season at 8-1. Over the span of the past two seasons, this year's Mites have gone 16-2-1 and have earned two consecutive Super Bowl berths. Division 1 Mites head coach Paul Hickey has three consecutive Super Bowl victories to his credit, having defeated Scituate , 21-0, in 2003, Scituate in 2004, 12-0, and now, this season, Marshfield , 12-0. Barnstable and Marshfield held each other scoreless in the first half, before Kaski took off on a 25-yard run with 2:20 remaining in the third quarter to make it 6-0. The two-point PAT failed, but Kaski followed with a 30-yard touchdown jaunt at the 4:16 mark in the fourth quarter to seal the deal at 12-0. The tow-point PAT failed, but Barnstable held its ground and ran the clock out to garner the win.
